In selecting nonprofits to participate in the clinic, Johnson Institute staff consider the following critera:
- Is the project clearly defined?
- Is the project scoped appropriately for 1-2 graduate students to complete in approximately 11 weeks?
- Does the project go beyond "staff work" to give the consultants meaningful ways to contribute?
- Is the nonprofit able to support student consultants throughout this project (answering questions, access to data and resources, etc.)?
