The Nonprofit Clinic is a capstone course in which graduate students complete consulting projects for area nonprofits. Since 2011, the Nonprofit Clinic has provided professional consulting services to over 120 organizations to help them enhance governance and leadership; foster organizational cultures that prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion; develop adaptive strategic plans and resilient financial management models; increase opportunities for social entrepreneurship; and meet other organizational needs articulated by the organizations themselves.
The Clinic not only offers a unique opportunity for area nonprofits to benefit from free, professional consulting, but also prepares graduate students to take on future roles in these organizations, thus contributing to efforts to attract and retain diverse talent to the nonprofit sector in our region.
