Dan Rudy

Dan (he/him) is a second-year MPA Student majoring in Policy Research and Analysis at GSPIA. Dan received a BS in Mathematics and a BA in Economics with minors in Computer Science, Chemistry, and Hispanic Language and Culture from the University of Pittsburgh in his undergraduate career.

In addition to his role with the Johnson Institute, Dan is working on a masters thesis on strategic capital management in municipal government, and is the Judge of Elections for Pittsburgh’s 11th District, 11th Ward. During his undergraduate studies, Dan worked for NACURH, a nonprofit focused on motivating, empowering, and equipping student leaders for success on college campuses, most recently as their Chief Financial and Chief Operating Officer.

After graduating from GSPIA, Dan hopes to pursue a PhD to build on his current research and eventually pursue a career in local government.
